  • We use quantitative and qualitative methodologies to understand customer behaviour, attitudes, and perceptions for our clients which informs their strategy.
  • We build interactive Customer Panels allowing for an exceptionally quick turnaround in results so that opportunities are not missed.
  • Although most of our research is currently in retail and for food suppliers (food product development), over the past few years we have expanded and serve the hospitality, banking, insurance, health & well being and media industries (as well as the academic sector).
  • We are an owner managed consultancy but engage with specialists in their respective fields.
  • It’s crucial to listen to customers; make customers’ wishes realities and to exceed their expectations. We need to know what customers desire before they even know it themselves, so that when they see a product or service, they step into the space and think ‘that’s exactly what I need’.

Deirdre
Deirdre Randall

Deirdre Randall is the owner and founder of Global Consumer Research. She graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand and did her post graduate studies in SA as well as the UK. Her competencies include qualitative and quantitative research, sales input, retail, wisdom, consumer psychology & mentoring. 

She’s passionate about customers, cooking, art, and psychology. Amongst other titles, she’s the author of the best selling “Meals for Babies and Toddlers” which has been in print for over 30 years and has sold over 100,000 copies (a record in SA!)

In 2016 her son, Matthew, a Psychology and Marketing graduate (Monash) joined Global Consumer Research because the business had grown so big. He contributes much to the technology and implementation of focus groups.
